Compute Jobs

Job submission

To run CP2K, a compute jobs has to be submitted to the queueing system.

Job queueing

Jobs typically start within a few seconds. Occasionally, a new compute node has to be procured, which takes around 90 seconds. In very rare circumstances the limit of all available nodes can be reached, in which case a job’s waitlist position is displayed.

A list of all active jobs can be found in the Running sidebar on the left. Furthermore, the number of jobs queueing (queue icon) and running (run icon) is shown in the status bar at the very bottom.

While a job is running, it can already be observed with the Output Browser.
