Trajectory Viewer
The trajectory viewer is an app for viewing atomic motion.
The trajectory can be viewed as a movie by clicking on the playback button. A specific frame can be selected with the slider. The buttons next to the slider allow for single frame increments.
The toolbar provides additional features:
Show unit cell can help to understand the dynamics - especially during cell optimization. Unfortunately, showing the cell currently slows down the rendering significantly. This will be fixed in the near future.
Export current frame writes a new .xyzfiles and opens it in the Structure Builder.
Plot energy shows the total energy over the course of the trajectory.
Measure distances by selecting two atoms, measure angles by selecting three.
